Tim Burton's Corpse Bride

The Corpse Bride was morbidity at it’s finest. The characters were all tragic in their own way, whether because of their greed, their lack of choice in life, their serious awkwardness or their early demise. You won’t believe the characters you’re watching are actually puppets. They move with much grace and living, breathing fluidity. You’ll feel their warmth and their coldness. You’ll be torn between the love of two women for the same man. After all, they’ve both known him the same length of time. They both equally, instantly fall in love with him. One can’t help her altered state – deceased. You may genuinely feel for elderly corpses and skeletal dogs. This is such a fun movie. I didn’t know going in it was a musical. Usually, I’m not a big fan of the musicals, but the dancing and the hodgepodge make it quite entertaining. All in all, you’ll have a great time watching characters tumbling through 2? very chaotic and uncontrollable days of their lives.
