Momentum is building for Craig Everett Earl’s INTRUSION.
Film fest screenings lead to
deals being discussed (11/26/07)

The independent horror/thriller movie "Intrusion" is on a roll coming off its screenings at the Fright Night and Full Moon Film Fests. Writer/Producer Craig Everett Earl tells us that Intrusion is currently in negotiations finalizing a distribution deal and even lining up financing for a sequel. Distro offers are already on the table, so the film will be released in ‘08 whether a worldwide distributor is in place by then or not.

The big news about the sequel is that if financing is secured, at least one actor of legendary status in the horror genre has already agreed to appear in it. Early efforts are also being made to include one or two more recognizable names, so keep an ear to the ground for this one.

The screenings have also led to more roles for the actresses involved including franchise films like Ace Ventura 3, but most notably "Requiem for the Fallen" which will star Intrusion’s lead actress, Kate Stanley, and will feature a return to the screen for Tony Moran (Michael Myers in the original Halloween) who previously had been retired from acting!

Even with all the action surrounding Intrusion, main man Earl continues to create. He is currently working on "Addiction”, a segment for an untitled Horror/Comedy anthology (similar to Creepshow), which will be one of three stories contributed by different directors.
